The warrior yogi

A true Warrior Yogi must battle the desire to cling onto what has passed, or what will never be, and embrace what is NOW.
The warrior fights for the things in life (s)he can change. The Yogi accepts the things (s)he cannot change.
We all have a yogi and a warrior inside of us.
We must seek to experience true balance within in order to change what is changeable (warrior) and to accept that what is not (yogi).

Intuitive Flow

Let’s connect to the mental, energetic and emotional aspect of yoga and tune into our 6th sense (intuition). Starting at the base of our spine (pelvis) we will invite feminine qualities like grace, nurture, sensitivity, gentleness, flow and compassion in our practice and experience how it feels to move through asana in a flow that is guided by our inner wisdom. We will work on flexibility of body, mind, and emotions; finding our sense of inner knowing and inner stillness.

Nieke Franken

Nieke Franken has been teaching yoga and movement internationally since 2007. She specialized in classical Hatha, prenatal and postnatal yoga and more contemporary vinyasa and movement styles like Budokon and Brahmani Yoga.

She has developed a ‘Yoga for Woman’ module that has supported Teacher Trainings in Tel Aviv.

Nieke offers embodied yoga practices that allow for the practitioner to truly listen to the body in all expressions of it: energetically, emotionally, mentally and physically.
