Dharma Yoga Master Sadhana (outdoor)
A practice for intermediate through advanced students as well as yoga teachers. It features Level IV of the Dharma Yoga Shiva Namaskara Vinyasa series. This amazingly graceful yet challenging practice is steeped in 50 years of Sri Dharma’s classical tradition, exploring variations of advanced postures rarely encountered. The practice concludes with a guided purifying relaxation. The teacher helps guide each individual to quiet the turbulent mind so as to experience peace, contentment and realization of the Divinity already present within.
Dharma Yoga Wheel Workshop/ Assistant Ira Trobnikov (indoor)
The Dharma Yoga Wheel born out of decades of practice at our school is now being used worldwide. The wisdom built into it enhances all arching possibilities greatly. We have designed programs and sequences that will take you through an amazing physical warm up allowing you to get to a full expression of classical postures. You will also be taken through many partnering variations on the wheel.
Dharma Yoga Inversion Workshop / Assistant Ira Trobnikov (indoor)
Sri Dharma Mittra’s signature pose is the handless headstand, but we will be showing you many important variations of the headstand, shoulderstand, Headstand, Scorpion and Downward Dog in a safe and mindful manner. These poses will bring strength to ones arms shoulders and back while invigorating the spine to increase flexibility, youthfulness and health. These postures massage and renew the internal organs and bring rich oxygenated blood to the brain.
Dov Grubler Vargas – Varuna Om
received his 200 hour Certification in the Dharma Yoga Life of a Yogi Teacher Training in Israel in 2010. Followed by our 500, and 800-hour teacher training Certification (DYRT) in New York Ctiy. Yogi Varuna was initiated by Swami Kailshananda (Yoga Gupta), when he was a baby. Dov teaches at the Dharma Yoga Center New York City, and with an emphisis on Dharma Yoga Wheel and workshops worldwide.
